I'll say start reading blog posts (articles) here on bp, attend the Wednesday evening webinars, listen to podcasts, follow forum categories you are interested in, search for topics in the forums, grab some books ( you can always search for most recommended ones).

I'm currently trying to read as many RE books, listen to podcasts, read blog posts, going to local REIA meetings and become Real Estate Literate.

Without them getting timely in their face reminders they may discover you aren't checking and then intentionally be slower and slower.

See if you can get a list of properties going into the next tax sale, or properties that were in the last tax sale.There are lots of ways to find deals I think there is more than 1 blog post on 100 ways, (or 101 ways) to find deals. 

Try sense financial.com, they are a big member on BP, they do many blog posts, youtube videos are good also.
