I've got my doctorates in pharmacy and while the content of pharmacy itself has nothing to do with real estate investing, the career has put me in a financial position where I was able to save up and start my investing career off with a bang.

@Matt Boettinger - I don't dispute that the buyer added value to the property; my contention is that the broker, because of her position representing both sides of the transaction and by her failure to advise me properly, caused me monetary damages by her handling of the situation.

I have been consuming a bunch of content on real estate investing in the past year and made the decision to get involved now that I can actually choose how I would like to spend my post-military career.I am initially going to be working on wholesaling properties and see what opportunities will open up from there.
