@Chase Burge yes, as long as you have not taken the Sec 121 exemption on the sale of another property within the past two years, you should be able to move back in for six months or more and then be eligible.

Perhaps that's why they're realtors - they enjoy the social aspect of it and the open houses, meeting new people, etc. and perhaps a lot of them don't like the idea of having to deal with the bad side of landlording: chasing rent, evicting, etc.
