Hi all, first off, I currently reside in western ND although I have a strong desire to move back to Michigan, either upper or lower...I miss the lakes and trees!  

All sudden, black swan event and boom its all gone and don't say it can't happen. 

Certainly found some good ideas for our STR in Lake Placid.

since i have one for about every scenario i have one i Lake Oswego right now.. were by the time they conditioned me.. they wanted 250 feet of new 8 inch ductile iron water pipe.. its a corner lot and they wanted commerical half street improvement.. so about 200k to split one lot.. so they are getting none of it.. just going to build a nice 999k spec on a double lot and call it a day.. but i wasted a year and 20k in engineering and city fee's to try to get the split. 

I only buy USA made furniture for our lake house.

I am looking to purchase a lake house rental in the lake oconee Georgia area.

Congrats btw, I am doing the same thing over in Lake County, moved into my duplex this summer.

What about Disney World, ocean front house, house on the lake or river, house in the mountains?
