Are there concerns like location, zoning or land use, or is it simply about passing the inspection if it's a residential use?

How do people who acquire and manage STR's track the time for their Active Material Participation activities? 

After about 6mo I ended up meeting the love of my life which opened my eyes to thinking further down the road than I had been previously and although I really enjoy the Casino Marketing game, I soon realized it would not be the best path to achieving my life/financial goals for my future family.

The tenants never asked if this was okay and just started doing it.

Your choice is start and just do it, or, bank another regret for later...... 

When you start bringing in investor money, you can reimburse yourself for all those costs, but that doesn't mean you can just start a syndication with no money in your bank account.  

If you do so and get caught you will have a tremendous problem. 

What would you do in this scenario and why?

It seems that IRS liens can be negotiated down but how would one do this?

And unlike property taxes, it’s something you have a lot of control over.
