McGraw-Hill wanted me to add some new material, so that helped wipe out my summer.

I'd check what values they used to come up with your premium to make sure they have correct square footage, number of units, materials etc, and that you agree with their total replacement cost. 

You're trying to go for neutral, repeatable materials you can use over and over.

Hello all,I am new to the BP forums but have been a landlord for about 10-yr (former primary residence turned rental) and need a referral to a very competent Handyman to help us completely insulate and encapsulate our crawl space under our shared foundation townhome/PUD.The companies who specialize in this type of encapsulation work seem to charge an arm and a leg >$5K when materials are less than $900 so we just do not have it in the budget, however, we would like to get it done before the fall when the skunk mating season begins.I have contacted a few Craig's list people who do side jobs and work for insulation companies full time but they have not actually done an encapsulation system and also want to charge what the big companies charge, one guy actually quoted me $4.5K+ with a straight face and unlike the companies I would have no warranty or recourse if problems came up after install!

I would be surprised if there are other offers that would materialize in the numbers you are saying.  

I know they are out there, because I have driven by them.

If you need to do ceiling work anyway the added cost of the material is well worth it.

There is a written provision that all discarded materials be removed.

How does a vacant policy cover the material interests of the GC and Subs?
