not exactly sure what your describing I have never seen a home built in the areas I work with block only in FLA.but for design.. look at these The Village at Rand Road in Hood River Oregon ( google it) I built those 24 homes and I think they are cool so would be interested to get your take.. and in Hood river its like were you live we have to build for 125 mile winds. that area can get 100 mile an hour winds in the winter.. look at 8 woodal ct in Charleston SC see what you think of that one.. we built it last year.Look at 20 F st Charleston it fresh and new on the market..

I would recommend staying away from Fort Myers Shores for anything but 3-6 month rentals over the winter months.

So if you are looking for well qualified tenants stick closer to Orlando and bigger/newer areas (lake nona, winter garden etc) If you are looking for price point and new construction is an option, I would recommend getting in early on a bigger development so the builder will force appreciation for you and you'll still have plenty of tenant options.
