I mean many of us could just move to some little Indiana town were you can buy a nice home for 10 to 15 k that is livable and call it a day.Or you can have your home in Newport beach your yacht in front of it.. you winter place in Aspen.. etc etc... all personal preferences.

Unless it's a period detail that is popular and worth saving, you can't ignore stuff like that in your budget.I've had to make corrections to my rehab plan and budget (which originally included the demo of the tiles), due to some serious unforeseen plumbing issues that became apparent after the REO was de-winterized.
