The home is only worth what someone else will pay you for it...no matter what zillow or any appraiser tells you.

Understand that some things may not matter at all, like there isn't much difference between renting a 1,350sqft. and 1,300 sqft, but on the other end of the spectrum, that 50sqft matters when the apartment only has 500.3.

@Kalhan Bhan Hi Kalhan, as long as you pick the right property in the right neighborhood at the right price, the age of the house shouldn't matter.

He seems to find a good deal no matter what.You might want to give a look at local monthly meetups (one in Mission Viejo and one in Yorba Linda).Also, might want to look at Fund2Flip app.  

For myself or other investors with a few properties it doesn't matter as it all averages out.

Its nice to throw in and matters to a certain extent, but the monthly income generated is paramount.  

Someone will claim that they're out of compliance and there will be case law developed around this matter.  

Any thoughts on the matter?
