It's just too much travel time and I would be concerned if they cover that large of an area they are just starting out or can't keep clients.

Thank you for your response.I guess you can say I lived in Tulsa the longest out of my 5 years in the US.I traveled a lot as a kid.So I have been keeping track of the market and it is competitive but nothing that I can overcome.

I have done small Reno when tenants are traveling, tile, a new floor but it can be tough.

That would be something you'd probably have to travel to work out.  

I'm guessing I either need to travel to see the property or have someone locally?

I travel between Allentown, PA and Williamstown, NJ and welcome any advice and guidance.

I think going in multiple markets makes sense, but I would be very strategic with it and see if you can invest in markets where if you traveled to them, you could fly into 1 market and drive to the other markets.

I don't have a large knowledge of the Syracuse area but do have a nice setup in Utica with property management, and a good handy man/maintenance guy who I believe does travel to Syracuse.

My partner and I are looking to increase our portfolio of buildings and will be traveling to the DFW area next week (Dec 26-29th).
