The area is improving and you can reasonably expect to push rents over time.

I am okay with it because I was a bit hot under the collar when I wrote it and was being pushed by a friend (aaahhh peer pressure!). 

In addition, interest rate hikes have also scared homebuyers off.Some experts say the new tax code is really only negatively impacting the market of high-end homes, while pushing homeowners to choose more tax-friendly locations instead.

I've spoken with finacial mentors recently, secured a few potential investors, and I feel a wave pushing me forward but I'm obsessed with doing my homework.

Also, this will effect your ability to not only rent the property, but push rents in the future.  

I only order my own appraisals when I’m disputing my property taxes so I’m rooting for a low appraisal in those cases.
