Some of the houses are pretty rough, but it seems like a lot of investors are flipping houses in that area now and a lot of restaurants are opening in that area as well.

Probably not, lenders want to see that you have the income to pay your mortgage, so it may be time to start looking for your next job so that your time between jobs is minimized if you can't find something you like before your department is shut down.

I tried to get an answer from HUD on this but was told they couldn't help me because of the government shut down.I would also like to add that my agent has been trying to get answers as to the same questions and she has found no one that can make any sense of it all either.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thank you
