There are other strategies like 1031 exchanges to defer those profits/taxes again.You should also read the book Tax-Free Wealth: How to Build Massive Wealth by Permanently Lowering Your Taxes by Tom Wheelwright.....I'm sure there are many others, but this is laid out in a pretty simple and digestible way to give you the broad concepts.
