The OPs rehab has an odd and dated exterior with black trim, and it's location is not as neighborhoody.

It is one of the easiest ways to get fired and black listed by banks.

If it's not black and white or vanilla they give a standard safe response.

Try not to think of this "retirement" thing in black and white, all or nothing terms. 

Life is more than making money.Furthermore being a member our Board's grievance ethics committee I would suggest you review the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice because discriminating (or black listing) Entry Only, Limited Service, or Flat Fee listings and refusing to show these to your potential buyers (even if they are good fits for their needs) can get you an Ethics Violation and a sanction by your Board.

I have received copies of mortgage files with the names, account numbers and address blacked out from banks wanting to know if I could refi that borrower, a bit different than sending information to a broker to simply sell the note.

Also, curious how many coats of paint it took to cover the black?
