The beauty of a HELOC is that you only pay on it when you are actually using it so it's there when you need it and costs you nothing when you're not using it.

I would think with a good % down payment there are more possibilities in most countries.In the US I am looking at a 'Foreign National Mortgage Loan' at the moment.

I’m looking into an STR in Siesta Key at the moment and would love to learn more about the area.

I have been looking into single family homes there myself, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet (I've been focused on finding my first home, a house hack at the moment).  

Is it overpriced at the moment?
