I've been pushing a house hack, but I think she is out on the idea at this time with a 7 month baby in the fold.

My wife and I recently purchased a home so that we have a nest to stay in, but now we are looking to start generating somE passive income for our newborn baby.  

It is funny how a new baby on the way gets you thinking more long term.Anyways, my wife and I live in Boulder County, Colorado and made good decisions on our home purchase and have a good amount of equity in our current home.

But back to your question- we are building high end (we are doing the Eden alternative housing format on both bed types) because senior housing has very much become a thing where our residents expect quality of life amenities and nice places to live (not 1960's hallways and cafeteria style stuff)..today's baby boomers expect high quality and operators are giving it to them.

But it was full of hair pretty far down and clogged up.I'm not sure if the flipper will be liable that will depend on laws in your state, etc.  

My units are not in a warzone but still reluctant on having one more item to baby sit the tenant on.

I'm thinking of all the sleepless nights and gray hair while watching this building come back to life for a new purpose (to make me money).

Real Estate has hair on it and it's not what the fix and flip TV shows make it out to be. 

(With this achieved, my husband and I can subsequently plan to have a baby and spend time with him/her, without much financial stress.)  

I have one 4-unit in Anderson under my belt and am aggressively saving for my next investment, so it can be done, one baby step at a time.
