We are currently stationed in Clovis, NM with the Air Force but are wanting to invest long term in our hometown of Louisville, KY.Is long distance investing to start out your portfolio something others have had experience with and/or would recommend? 

I would be updating, cleaning, repairing, and prepping to list it in spring if that's the case.

I asked him what we could set up as collateral and waiting for a response.no, it looks like he purchased property in 2017 and sold the units spring 2019.

If that is based on spores/m^3 of air ten is low. 

I would give him a couple days to come up for air then just talk to him. 

Spring break will be over next week in our area and the MLS should start popping with inventory. 

Also, if he doesn't get it fixed, you can go buy a portable air conditioner. 

Then thinking spring time go and find similar deal or something that the math makes sense.

Bellaire, Spring Branch and Katy are all pretty well regarded in terms of good school districts.Flood areas - honestly, nobody knows. 

I don't think it'd be many air bnb unless they were furnished, it'd be too hard/costly for it to make sense to get rid of everything needed for airbnb to get it rented.I wonder if it's more of a these were supposed to be sold (vacant) but now they shifted back to rental as inventory levels creep up?
