If you are going to be there 30 years with little chance of moving sooner, the correct decision would be to put almost no concern for resale value, remodel it the way you personally want it.If you are going to be there 2 years, put no concern for the way you want it and soley focus on resale.

My brother in law is doing his first flip in PSL, Florida....EXTREMELY talented/experienced guy as far as remodeling/rehab goes, but didn't bother to look at comps in the area, although I don't think he's too far off.PM me and I'll give you the address.
