You could always look for a property manager if you'd like to avoid interacting with tenants or a particular neighborhood.

I figure if we can find a way to articulate how it's not even then it makes our future interactions really easy.

The reason I finally decided to take the plunge and get started interacting is because I see so much opportunity around me.
