What exactly do you ultimately want to do?

Ultimately said it's just a business decision to rent to them with the legal dependent not on a lease.Guessing folks in the assisted living facility niche may have experience in this - your wisdom would be appreciated!

We would love to better understand what this looks like, tax implications (for good/bad), and what it ultimately means for us.If anyone has experience with this, if you could chime in that would be great!  

This community is awesome.My goals over the next few months are network, find a few mentors in the area, and ultimately find a multi family in the Providence area + get it ready to rent for the upcoming school year.

In fact, I think it promotes "feet dragging".

I would come again just to network with investors and promote myself as well!

I would say buying the whole thing, keeping the best part, and selling the parcel(s) to offset cost is a good idea and I have seen it time and time again here with larger parcels.I would look at what your ultimate goal is and work from there.  

Ultimately, I'm sure my parents didn't mind at all to subsidize their child raising.
