As a reminder, your security deposit is x amount, which will be available to you after move out inspection is completed and any repairs or damages not due to normal wear and tear are resolved.

I think it will be easy to resolve IF I can get the guy next door to cooperate.  

A seller/borrower about to file BK may have recorded judgments that need resolving before you buy.

Unfortunately this can't & wont be resolved by denying my permit because the community already knows where this popular home is located so the traffic & unknown people driving down a public street will continue either way.

Make sure you've resolved the issue that's caused the debt.I believe you should payoff quickly, reducing you cost of living.

It doesn't look like a big (i.e. expensive) deal at all, but the time  to resolve that question is NOW.
