If you already have a gap between two MTR bookings, then it’s definitely worthwhile to rent out dates that would go vacant.

@Michael Plaks We bought it with the intent of rehabing and renting it out as a rental.

This property should cashflow anywhere from $200-800 (net) depending on what I can rent it for/how accurate the comps I've found are.

Renting on Molokai is already difficult (it is not a major tourist destination), and the climate is not tourism-friendly.

I'm seeing conditions vary from turnkey/rented to almost tear down.
