If you have a trusted family member with good credit, I'd recommend becoming an authorized user on one of their credit cards, so long as they have good payment history and don't utilize the credit card above 30% utilization.

This just gives you the right to sublease.You can get added to the mortgage as an authorized person to be able to get information so that they would talk to you if you ever called with a question.Also get added to the insurance as a loss payee.After a year or so I would think you could buy the house subject to the existing mortgage.
