Just disclose when you bought it, it had this issue and we had an engineer propose a fix and implemented it and got it signed offThis is not uncommon.

@Asim Purses, I've definitely been hearing chatter regarding the expansion/removal of area limitations for the ADU Program; and even that a modified proposal was being presented to City Hall. 

I spend all day every day underwriting proposed commercial loans and analyzing the risks associated with them.

I think that this is absolutely where the market is headed and am certain that the way my children purchase real estate is going to look much more like the model that he proposes than the current status quo.
