Understand where the bottleneck in your renovation is and hammer it out.- It's cheaper to fly friends and family in who know what they are doing, pay for their food and flight, and get help then hire it out.

Spend the time researching your market, go visit other landlords properties to see what they are offering and better understand how they structure their leases.At this stage you should already KNOW whether STR/MTR/LTR is the plan.

You can say you understand etc but don't make promises. 

Ive got my eye on some places and just hoping to get your opinion on the neighborhood, my understanding of hilltop is over-all its C grade but can be street by street slightly better or worse..

@Steve Tse, I welcome the public discussion about this, and it is good that you understand that Worcester is heterogenous and there are neighborhoods. 

I would love to get a better understanding of what duplexes in this area actually sell for, and not just running my numbers based off of initial listing prices from owners.
