Any advice on how to capture international buyers moving to US?

I read a lot of different posts about how to handle laundry and lawn care but I was wondering what was standard in this area. 

I am looking to intern for free in a project management position, in South Alabama or the Florida panhandle areas.

Curious if anyone has an opinion on furnished vs unfurnished rentals, specifically for students/international students. 

My question is, what is the standard rule of thumb about requiring a certain number of nights in prime season. 

My agent told me that $1,000 is standard and I've heard a few investors put $100-500.
