This just takes you into an arena full of scammers that are being cracked down on, you may have great intentions, but if you fail or clog the process or don't perform it will be easy to get tagged as a scammer and suffer the consequences.I know what gets said in these situations, I've been on both sides as a lender and buyer many times over the years. :) Here is the route to be an approved : http://portal.hud.gov/hudportal/HUD?

The only way would be an owner occupied loan and if your intention is to flip it then it would be considered mortgage fraud.

@Mike NelsonWhen someone loans their IRA or 401k to a third-party, it will be deemed a promissory note investment and the transaction must be done with the intention of benefiting the IRA or 401k as, after all, the purpose of investing your retirement funds is to grow the retirement account.

@Edward MccrackenLikely your only option is to contribute to your employer plan.A Solo 401k plan is designed for someone who is self employed, and any contributions to such a plan would have to come from your self-employment income - not from your W-2 income from your employer.If your intention is to leave that money in the plan and have it grow tax-deferred, then contributing and reducing your taxes makes sense.If you think there is a higher than 50% likelihood that you will borrow the funds back out of the plan, then you may as well just not contribute in the first place.

There are exemptions such specific property, including a personal residence by claiming an "intent to return home" on the Medicaid application, however this does not prevent the state of Maryland from claiming the amount paid through the state Medicaid program against the home.
