The buyer definitely owns the property, otherwise it is not owner financing, it is some sort of lease or option or a combination of the two.

Non realtor (me) drawing up purchase contract with seller financing land deal, owner is listed as "ABC Inc Profit Sharing Plan" in the county CAD.

Most hard money/DSCR lenders don't lend in South Dakota, so I can foresee a low closure rate on deals since financing will be difficult to get.

There are quite a few options that you will have to start investing in real estate.

You can always DIY your pm which might be the best option with that.
