I think being specific about goals is definitely key! 

Look for a wet or low spot or look for a high spot.

I’m not really a “people person.”A PM can definitely pay for themselves just in higher rents, late fees, collection of damages beyond security deposits, and reduced vacancy.

Courses are great if you are looking for high-level "paper experience," but the best way to learn is to jump right in.

Yes my sample size is definitely small because its only Biggerpockets im sampling from.
