Class B/C properties in A/B areas respectively makes sense, or areas that are gentrifying and in the path of progress on there way to higher quality areas.  

I've had an interest in financial literacy for a couple months now and have been doing some basic research on the path I want to take.

Based on my 25 years in the business, I see one path before you fraught with stress and risk.

The family demographic you described is definitely another group to target as guests, but they are a smaller subset of the overall "corporate traveler" market. 

So, I want to avoid that and start with a bank where they do not have this limitation.Right now I'm just working on getting the financing piece setup, so I know what path I can go down when I find the good deals.Hope that helps.
