If your contract explicitly states they can't rent out a unit, then let them know that their actions would constitute a breach of contract and that you would have the right to declare the whole contract void, or even to seek damages for breach of contract.

pretty middle of the road if you follow the exact letter of your lease agreement.. the one's I got hung up on were I sent a registered letter.. judge kicked it out.. as the letter had to be regular mail.other than that I hire eviction services and 60 days or less the tenant is gone.

In Massachusetts the deal is usually the defendant (husband in this case) isn't allowed contact and must stay away within a certain amount of feet, something like 1000 feet. many times the judge has the defendant surrender keys but It all depends on what the judge says. like others have said it really has nothing to do with you and she may even have protection from you throwing her out.

The roof had major holes in it and what hadn't been consumed by the fire was destroyed by water damage from the fire department.Dealing with the insurance company took roughly 6 months and was a pain, but the house was finally declared a total loss.Depending on how big the damage is, you might want to consider hiring a professional adjuster to deal with the insurance company.
