This was on my personal house, so it was frustrating and the insurance industry has changed so much in the last 2 years and they are winning. 

They have some events, virtual meetings, and in-person trade shows where it might be beneficial.

I think the world is moving towards a need for a person to have to have multiple streams of income even if one wants to buy Real Estate. 

@Mounish Thatikonda, while I can't speak in too much detail about the financing side, I will note that I have never built a house, but had talked to lenders in the past, and they were willing to finance a new construction house for me with full personal guarantee and a reputable builder contracted to manage the construction.  

My personal portfolio consists of 4 rental properties and a total of 8 units, with 5 of those units being utilized as a STR. 

It's only for the lazy and unorganized person.

I am a self employed person and don't have W2 to qualify for conventional or FHA financing.
