Is A.I. over hyped?

As of now, are A.I. systems really good? or over hyped? I can't see the importance of a.i. If you have a system like what i do you won't need an all in one a.i powered system. It's only for the lazy and unorganized person. Maybe in a few more years when A.I. is really ready for the market I might try and use it again. I'd rather hire a person rather than A.I. Unless proven otherwise. I want to hear your thoughts on this.

It is not overhyped

we have massive reduction in force these days because tech company is switching from their traditional business to AI oriented business. 

next plan for most company is doing reorg with most business decision is supplied by AI so lot of middle manager would be cut.

it is just matter of time when real estate agent would be replaced by AI as well
