Your awareness of the potential in having FSU and the various hospitals in the area shows astute thinking.Here are some of the key hospitals in Tallahassee and their respective distances from downtown:Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare: Roughly 1-2 miles from downtown.Capital Regional Medical Center: Approximately 5-6 miles to the northeast of downtown.HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Tallahassee: Around 3-4 miles from downtown.Select Specialty Hospital - Tallahassee: Roughly 1-2 miles from downtown.Tallahassee VA Health Care Center: About 2-3 miles southwest of downtown.Florida State Hospital: Located in Chattahoochee, Florida, about 40-45 miles west of Tallahassee.Tallahassee Developmental Center: Approximately 4-5 miles from downtown Tallahassee.Tallahassee Memorial Hospital Behavioral Health Center: Within 1-2 miles from downtown.I'd focus on areas that are convenient for both work and entertainment.

Huntsville is in the middle and you can literally go in any direction and still be 30 to 45 minutes from entertainment/activities/shopping/medical anywhere you WANT to be!!!!

It is more advanced method of asset protection for those with high-risk profession such as medical doctors with certain surgical specialties or OBGYNs who specialize in high risk births, business owners whose business own assets, and real estate investors with high visibility and risk with high number of units generally with a high risk profession.

Aside from having wealthy individuals, it also has one of the lowest uemployment rates 4-5%, a broad based economy, universities, medical centers, amusement parks, open space, is serviced by every major airline, has miles of shoreline where driving down the highway one can see migrating whales, and perfect year round weather!

I have quite a bit of time until we would even consider buying a rental property (have to close on our own house first) but would like to get all my ducks in a row so to speak.Rochester and Syracuse would also be an option (did my medical training in Syracuse) but I know less about the cities.Thanks for the help and all the great information on this site!

I will still go to the hospital but I double check everything the doctor and nurses do, procedures, medication ect. for me or a family member.

If I become even more wealthy and have enough time on my hands or interest, I will fund scientific research that focuses specifically on health as it relates to natural hygiene, since most money is being wasted on counter-productive medical research that makes the sick-care industry rich perpetuating 95% of the problems it's supposed to solve.
