At this point they went ballistic and started accusing us of giving the home in awful condition.Its a beautiful and well maintained house with lots of new upgrades, professionally cleaned.

For example, if a Republican governor or President rolled back an environmental regulation to spur business, would it be right to accuse that leader of trying to destroy the planet?

The state owns this, More likely On cases like this ,it means The county or state used it for witness protection or maybe someone that works for like a Jail facility . for protection..
