It’s time to slide on down the continuum from Ned Flanders towards tony soprano.

Our office manager argued that all the proposed repair such as drywall, floor, paints, doors, windows, thermal and moisture protection treatment, etc are part of the tenant responsibility.

After you get them out, board up every window, install cameras, get a trusted friend with a dog to stay there until you sell for cash more people return with nightmares.

You could also have a window AC unit on hand, that you can place in the unit until the AC Tech gets the main air conditioning system repaired.

By only telling one side of the story, objectivity goes out the window. 

Flooring, walls, roof, electrical, egress with windows and I think there is something about having a door that exits the home... not just into the home. 

Same thing for closet requirements, window access, and emergency egress availability.  

Many renovations and updates are already done (half the windows, all bathrooms, both kitchens) and I love a Tudor.

If the contractor broke one of the windows would that also be the tenant's fault or would it be your fault for not removing the window before the contractor did the work?
