These people know that most diseases that are transmitted readily through surface contact have more trouble with glazed ceramic surfaces than they do with plastic surfaces.

Is there a lot of deep fat frying taking place in the home?

It's not a secret, there are tons of people looking for mentors, you really don't have to put a yellow plastic sign on the side of the freeway to find them.  

Have to agree with @David Barnett and @Mark Fries, if you are an investor you are a business person, i do not know your project and what is involved, but just your attitude in this post tells me i would not want to do work for you and would jack up my price pretty high if i knew i had to deal with you. part of the pricing difference goes into the "illegal" contractor, not a registered co with no insurance i am sure and no payroll to speak of, because any help he will have is paid in cash. there are costs to run a construction co and it is not cheap, just to step in your door on day one to start any work those costs can be as much as $500. i am not agreeing that $10,000 is a fair price, especially if it is just a shower, but you can not compare a licensed contractors price to someones price that just does not care to work legally.

Spray on an enzymatic neutralizer of your choice (I use natures miracle just make sure it says enzymatic on it), lay plastic down so it soaks into the floor completely and doesn’t just evaporate, then you’re looking at some serious ozonation time.

Does it have a small kitchen, in a flood zone, septic system, plastic CPCV plumbing, tree growing through gas line, modular home, foundation repair, auction listing, property code violations, past due taxes, murder or method house history, pit bull next door, corner house, finished and leaking basement?
