There are tons of college grads migrating to this area from all over the Southeast, and I'm lucky enough to live near, and know the area fairly well.My background in real estate is basically non-existent.

hey @Jon Klaus Quick question, how do you come up with demographics for these areas and job growth. as you can tell I'm new at this and I'm just starting to figure all this out. what type of research do you do to come up with the figures about the cities and migration patterns. thanks in advance

It seems like the Portland market is pretty hot right now, however, it seems like the mass migration to the area doesn't seem to be slowing down.

She didn't get it that maggots don't migrate from elsewhere, they were hatching in her own dirty apartment!

At the same time we're seeing a steady migration from Detroit northward.

There is a logical ceiling to what people migrating to Austin can afford to pay based on their income and given the pricing of late I am not sure how long the appreciation is sustainable.Things are certainly going quite well right now, but 78702 lot prices are a lunatic level pricing right now on the open market.
