I see the trends going to more cool neutrals (grays) than browns and I second the idea of using navy.

The multi-trillion dollar black and gray market economies would no longer be untaxed, since a sales tax of 23%, as I recall, would be levied on consumption.

Just replace that grout, buy a coordinating shower curtain from Overstock.com with and paint the vanity and trim in a steel gray, like Valspar's Beguile or similar.

I've had mostly good luck with color matches at Sherwin Williams, especially in the whites, tans and grays.

Also, gray water can be discharged legally in some areas.

I think this is a gray area in terms of what's routine.  

Trellis would work well too, but be careful not to plant something that would grow outward in girth and too tall, as that would visually split the house in half.Paint the white horizontal header at the porch gray, so it will blend in with siding.Extend the porch to the end of the house and change the railings.

It seems people are moving away from builder beige and towards grays. 

The roof color isn't optimal, but I think a medium warm-gray-taupe will work fine with it and the brick, on the shingles.Then use a deep red-burgundy for the entry door, and have a shutter made to match the existing original ones (very simple, won't be expensive)... don't buy a cheap replacement plastic pair with louvers.A bit of landscaping will go a long way.
