If you spend the next 3-6 months browsing the forums, reading the blog posts, and listening to the podcasts, you will be more than ready to do your first deal.

While browsing through BiggerPockets, I got to know about "Listsource" for generating leads list but it is restricted to only USA.

If you spend any measurable amount of time browsing the BP forums you have probably come across a thread or two that was started by a new investor who's having a heck of a time getting a Realtor to work with them in an out of state market.

Are you working with a local agent at all or just browsing online so far?

Browse through the threads and contact anyone you think is knowledgeable!

I periodically browse the gigs section on Craigslist even.

So I've recently been browsing homepath looking for deals.It came time to register an account with homepath, but one of the required fields is a "Real Estate License Number".I don't have a real estate license.Can you get a real estate license if you're not an agent (presumably not).

I still browse their properties and would buy again.  

Look at airdna.com for some metrics or just browse airbnb for similar properties in your area and look at the calanders and pricing. smaller units and individual owners still aren't fully booked and many are still keeping prices below market to keep them full, this will affect what you can charge too.What amenities does your community have, what are your expenses, are you self managing (do you have the time?)

I just browsed through some of their listings and they have some of the poorest ratings.
