The lease itself explicitly states no pets:12.PETS:No dog, cat bird, fish or other pet or animal of any kind may be kept on or about the premises without the Landlord’s written consent.See Pet Addendum.Here is what the Pet Addendum states:THIS AGREEMENT is attached to and made a part of the Florida Residential Lease Agreement dated January 11 , 2015 by and between  xxxxxx(Landlord), and xxxxxxxxxx (Tenant), for the Property located at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.Tenant desires to keep a certain pet described below on the Property and the Florida Residential Lease Agreement specifically prohibits allowing pets on the Property.The Florida Residential Lease Agreement is hereby amended by this Pet Addendum to grant such permission to the Tenant.

My friend who has all of these properties (and just purchased one in the Bahamas) also had trouble getting a personal mortgage for a house he wanted to live in so it is discouraging to me being the small fish in the sea.

I've worked for a hunting outfitter in Wyoming before and I absolutely love the outdoors(Skiing/Snowboarding/Hunting/Fishing/Camping/Golfing, etc.)During the honeymoon I would like to be visiting some investor-friendly towns that have a close proximity to the mountains.

So start marketing ASAP.Nothing happens until you get a fish on the hook.  

Of course I live here and see it first hand being an investor and property manager so I may be in a fish bowl, but there is certainly some serious committed investors here taking great advantages of the explosive growth here in Houston.

I've managed to contact the cousin and have a meeting with her and her husband to discuss selling me the property next week (when her husband returns from a fishing trip).
