It seemed like they borrowed a relatives bank account and edited the name & address to theirs.

That might be one way to do it, but doesnt address a lot of other issues you probably need to accomplish.

If so, this seems risky as it leaves little time to address any issues?

Hey, This is a unique situation, I purchased my second property in June 2024, a single-family home that used to be a duplex, and is still zoned as a duplex ( remains 2 addresses).

Post all of the addresses of the pending properties that you are buying there.

In the process of coming up with a legal agreement between us, we cannot figure out how to address when we have differences on how to solve disagreements on repairs.

I really need to have reference material like that.I am aware of the issues you helpfully mention, and my intention is to pay Tax Title Services to address all that.

It really just depends on the lender, Most are going to make you pay it.It needs to be addressed
