Aside from the estate my grand father left me, I do pretty well in DFS, and a bunch of successful players come straight from being poker pros. 

(I love the breed, love the dogs, father used to raise them to hunt hogs, but something clicks in their brains (not all of them), and the force of their jaws locking down and pure muscle jerking back and forth is scary!)  

I actually met an investor late of Father's Day last year that hit me up while he was in town with no advance notice.

My situation, I'm a 32 year old single father of an 8 year old girl, I have a full time job making around 61k/year I have been renting a townhouse from my mother for nearly a decade, never really thinking I would have to move in fact, I assumed(like an ***) that I would just end up owning it sooner or later, I never prepared for having to move or prepared a downpayment or anything of that sort, in other words, I've been very stupid over the years.

At this point I step in to talk with the father who informs me his kids are only sick at the house, but not when visiting home.

We plan to begin our investing in Cleveland, but are open to exploring elsewhere.About 6 months ago, my father, brother and I were having breakfast and I started kicking around the idea of splitting a vacation home. 

My first exposure to real estate was through my father.
