I am trying to figure out which ones would be the best to invest my time in, if I was hoping to meet a lot of fellow RE investors.I feel that these things are a really mixed bag when it comes to attendance.Can anyone recommend the most well attended investor networking events in Houston and Dallas?

I wanted to lead off by giving a newbiereview of the Dallas REIA group for anyone else that may considerattending. 

I am a contractor in the Dallas/Fort Worth area that exclusively works with investors.

I live in Louisville Kentucky, have been here all my life (with the exception of a brief stint in Dallas), and have lived all over the city.

If you wanted to buy a Rental today that was move-in ready $300-350K, which Dallas suburb would you buy into and why? 

I have family that lives in Dallas County, so what I am about to say comes second hand and anecdotal.  

Plus, even when we move out and rent that unit as well, we would stIll need to pay $1500-2000 out of pocket, which would make it difficult to save up and grow our portfolIo So at this point if we can’t find a cheaper property in LA area, we’ll most likely start InvestIng in rental properties in Fresno or Dallas just to start building our portfolIo and continue paying rent.
