My wife is not always totally crazy about it because she had her own house for close to 25 years but since I’ve been house hacking B&Bs for 24 years it doesn’t bother me at all to occasionally hear a bang on the wall or a cough or the toilet flushing.

I suspected it was from a leaking roof, which was subsequently replaced before I brought the property but the wetting and drying over the years created cracks in the drywall and the vibration from the opening and closing of the garage door helped to separate the drywall from the drywall nails.

The area I live (Hot Springs Village) is beautiful BUT if you are a golfer, tennis player or any other outdoor activity be prepared to sit inside for most days...too hot, too wet, too cold.
