Hi All,My wife and I just purchased some property with a manufactured home which we are planning on making a vacation rental. 

We are still working on the interior and haven't done anything serious to the yard, but I think about it constantly.

I believe we are all on the same boat.

However, IF this is legit, it's most likely red flagged due to the origin of the funds and/or the issue with the German non profit (more specifically, what organizations that NP is associated with).Also, just my humble opinion, but if you don't already have history with this investor, and they contacted you, it most certainly is bogus.  

We are lucky to have a number of really great ones here.

So in theory the future maintenance should be the smaller wear and tear of the house.

My lender is interested in seeing the rent rolls and the trailing 12 expenses, we are interested in seeing the units and making an offer, but I'm at a standstill now. 

BTW the red tape at DPP now right now is horrendous.

We are planning on staying in this home for about 5 years.
