They will temporarily ignore remodel permits but will approve roof repairs, water heaters, plumbing repair, etc...Before any of this, our city was having a meeting about housing which is an ongoing issue in our tourist based local economy.

The water heater was over the shower area and must of blown and did some water damage, so i will need to replace all that OR should i just rip out the shower all together.

In some states, builders and property managers can take advantage of rebates on space and water heating equipment, substantially driving down the upfront costs of upgrading.

The coordination of insurance, water, electrical and contractors were the most time consuming parts.

Property owners still need to keep the common areas lights on, still need to pay for water in certain places, pest control, landscaping etc...
