A few days later he would ask me to bring my lawnmower over (he didn't own a pick-up) and I'd discover that he had already weeded the beds, trimmed the trees and shrubs, edged the yard.If the neighborhood was the least bit dodgy (seldom with my rentals) or if I was worried about the former tenants, he would take his air mattress, a bit of cookware and his portable TV and radio and "move in" during the work. When he was finished I would ask him how much I owed him for everything.
