I jumped in feet first with no training. 

There should be a small course (school) for investors to teach whether or not an investment is a good deal.

I was assuming no one will lend on a home needing alot of repairs so that was my train of thinking.

I’ve considered pursuing a RE agent license, and I could either do that instead of school or after I finish school.

I recently graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor's in Finance and I'm looking to work/learn for a couple years before starting grad school towards an MBA, most likely specified in real estate.In the meantime, I got some footing in the game and earned my real estate sales associate license in 2018, my freshman year of college.

The property is located a few blocks away from a downtown chicago suburb with a (Metra) train station that'll take you downtown.The major complication is that it has tenants with 6 months left on the lease at $1500 that is managed by a professional property management company. 

Save some cash while attending school and pay down the property.
