On the one I bought in the suburbs that had redemption rights, I let sleeping dogs lie; if I had not, they would have redeemed (they had the money to do so but for some reason chose to not pay the taxes).

No, it doesn't have the glitz and glamour of those highly appreciating areas that have now popped, but I can sleep a whole lot better knowing that I will be in the black next month and the month after that just like I was last month and the month before.
